Congratulations to Cindy Farmer and Patrick McLeod, Northside Hospital's 2025 AJC Celebrating Nurses Top 10 honorees. The two nurses and others were recognized May 8 for being some of the region's best nurses.
Cindy Farmer
A veteran nurse of 36 years, Cindy Farmer takes care of patients in the acute general surgery unit at Northside Hospital Cherokee. In nominating Cindy, the family of one of her patients wrote that she worked tirelessly to make their loved one comfortable, both physically and emotionally.
"She is the model nurse, and Northside Cherokee is very fortunate to have her."

Patrick McLeod
Patrick McLeod is a procedural nurse at Northside Hospital Duluth, where he has been for the past six years. A second career for Patrick, he went back to school later in life to study nursing.
During his first semester, Patrick completed an internship with the radiology department at Northside Duluth and knew that was the nursing route he wanted to take.
