Northside Hospital is proud to announce that all five of its hospitals — Northside Atlanta, Northside Cherokee, Northside Forsyth, Northside Gwinnett, and Northside Duluth — have earned the 2026 Stroke Care Excellence Award from Healthgrades, the leading resource that connects patients with high-quality care. This distinction recognizes hospitals ranked among the top 10% nationally for delivering superior clinical outcomes in stroke care, as measured by risk-adjusted mortality rates.
Northside Duluth and Northside Gwinnett have also achieved the 2026 Neurosciences Excellence Award, which acknowledges outstanding performance in both stroke care and cranial neurosurgery. To qualify for this honor, hospitals must demonstrate superior outcomes in these critical neurological service lines, as measured by in-hospital and 30-day post-discharge mortality rates.

The Stroke Care Excellence Award recognizes facilities with superior clinical performance in stroke treatment, while the Neurosciences Excellence Award honors those that demonstrate outstanding results across both stroke care and cranial neurosurgery.
