Northside Hospital Atlanta Ground Floor Surgery

Parking Instructions

• Parking charges apply.
• Turn right off of Peachtree Dunwoody Road and take the first left to park in the Green Parking lot. Back up parking available in the Gold Parking lot, first right off of Peachtree Dunwoody Road.
• Walk up the ramp from the Green Parking lot and enter the hospital through the main entrance into the lobby.
• Upon entering the hospital lobby, you will pass through a security screen and be asked to show photo ID.
• Main Admissions is straight ahead if checking in for surgery.
• Once check-in is complete you may reach the designated waiting area by proceeding down the stairs in the Main Lobby, or take the elevators to G (Ground Floor).
• Please check in at the desk.

General Surgery Instructions

If you have completed Pre-Surgery Testing, you can bypass Main Admissions and go straight to the Ground Floor waiting area. If you have not completed Pre-Surgery Testing, please go to Main Admissions on the 1st floor just past the main lobby.

Discharge Instructions

All patients discharge at the patient pickup area adjacent to the Gold parking deck.

From Green Parking:

If you are parked in Green parking follow the signs to exit Green Parking. Pay to exit Green Parking (first 30 minutes is free), and take an immediate right, and then immediate left (do not drive forward into the Gold Parking structure). Take a ticket to enter, then look for a large colorful column on the left. Enter the circular Patient Pickup area from the right-hand side of the large colorful column.

From Gold Parking:

Follow signs to parking level P5 and follow signs towards the Exit. After exiting from level P5, take a slight right to enter the Patient Pickup circle in front of the large colorful column.

From Peachtree Dunwoody Rd:

After turning off of Peachtree Dunwoody Road, go straight at the first intersection and take a ticket to enter (first 30 minutes are free). Enter the circular Patient Pickup area from the right-hand side of the large colorful column.

Visitor Policy

Each patient may have up to two visitors at a time during visiting hours.

For patients staying overnight: One adult acting as a care partner may stay overnight with the patient. Children are strongly discouraged from visiting. If children are present, they must be accompanied by and continuously supervised by an adult who is not the patient or a member of the healthcare staff. Children are not allowed to stay overnight under any circumstances.
